Windows Ease of Access


Have you ever wondered what windows ease of access is meant to do?
To access windows ease of access, go to start menu click on all programs and go to the accessories folder. Under the accessories folder select “ease of access” folder. You find
ü Ease of Access Center
ü Magnifier
ü Narrator
ü On-screen keyboard
ü Windows Speech Recognition



Windows ease of access gives you the following options
  • ·        You can use the computer without a display
  • ·        You can make the computer easier to use by optimizing the visual display
  • ·        You can use the computer without a mouse or keyboard
  • ·        You can also make your mouse easier to use
  • ·        You can make your easier to use
  • ·        You can set your computer to use text and visual alternatives for sounds
  • ·        You can also make it easier for you to focus on tasks


Another useful tool you can find under the “ease of access” folder is Windows Speech Recognition. With Windows Speech Recognition you can communicate with your system via voice commands, read text to your computer and it will type it. This makes life completely simple.
Note if the speech recognition is not set up properly it could really be a nightmare.
